Original Ping Pong is the ideal after dinner party game as it is designed to be played on any table – including dining room tables! Once supper has been served, drinks have been quaffed and the coffee cups have been cleared away, simply attach the net to the posts, screw the solid brass clamps (both cushioned by soft foam pads to avoid table damage) onto the table and let the games begin. This beautiful set contains two exact recreations of the very first Ping Pong Bats Made by Jaques of London in 1901. The Bats use a solid wooden frame and handle and are steam bent, finally they are covered with the finest grade vellum which is glued and hand stitched into place exactly as it was in 1901 The Post Set uses solid brass clamps and an antique finish wooden post. every metal parts has a soft foam pad so you dining tables are not damaged. The Net included is hand made from natural cotton exactly as it was in 1901. It can be adjusted to any table size simply by wrapping it around the posts. Set comes complete with 3 Celluloid balls as per the very first set. The Set is extremely easy to assemble, all you have to do is attach the net to the posts, and screw up the clamps onto you dining table (ensuring dinner has been totally cleared first!)
